Uttarakhand is a state in North India, whose former name was Uttaranchal. Its capital is Dehradun. It is bounded by Tibet in the north, Nepal in the east, Himachal Pradesh in the west and Uttar Pradesh in the south. It was earlier a part of Uttar Pradesh, it was formed separately from Uttar Pradesh on 9 November 2000. Uttarakhand is also called Devbhoomi which means the land of gods. There are many holy temples here. The glaciers here are the sources of Ganga and Yamuna rivers. Uttarakhand is a spiritually, culturally important state which attracts lakhs of tourists every year.

Ranikhet:- This is an attractive hill station. Ranikhet is famous for its natural beauty, cedar trees, adventure activities.

Valley of Flowers: Many types of flowers grow on their own here. It offers breathtaking views.

Tehri:- Tehri Dam is the highest dam in India and 12th highest dam in the world. Its top sights are Tehri Dam, Sukanda Devi Temple, Tehri Dam Reservoir, Clock Tower, Tehri Lake Water Sports (Speed Boating) etc.
